I know its been a long time since I have been updating .....but I'm still here...&amp;nbsp; I have to admit...i could not do the 17 day diet..it was to hard for me.....and the bodybugg got sent back...because it was not working properly....it was not syncing up with my phone....sooo...i decided to give ONLINE weight watcher s a shot, and the ONLINE only.&amp;nbsp; i keep track of my points through their website...and I also have joined a few blogs that have recipes that people post with low points and yummy food.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;I am also working out every morning&amp;nbsp; (starting working out this week) and I must say...the weight def. comes off alot fast when you work out.&amp;nbsp; (I am pretty lazy, so me working out for days everyday, and sticking to it...is a BIG deal for me. I am not really following the 17 day diet to a T..I am def. stepping out on the that specific diet.&amp;nbsp; I am having milk a few times a week (Fat free, skim organic) and a few days outta the week, I am having low cal bread (35 calories and slice)&amp;nbsp; But I am def. keeping up with my veggies and fruits, a sorta on meats. (more TUNA and Turkey than anything)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Let me tell you about my relationship with sugar now.&amp;nbsp; So..yesterday..I was making a sweet item (cake pops) for my sisters baby shower, and the smell..just lingered me in....I was just drooling over it as I was making it.&amp;nbsp; After I made the pops, I wanted to try one, before I started decorating them, I wanted to make sure they tasted good!&amp;nbsp; That one bite alone, about made me get sick!&amp;nbsp; It was soooo sweet! TOO sweet actually (i never thought I would say that!) As I was decorating them, (which took a lil over an hour may I add) I felt nauseous. That sweet smell of bakes goods that once made me drool, made me want to vomit! My stomach was def. turning the rest of the time dealing with these cake pops! That was a shocker to me.....yet very satisfying at the same time!!&amp;nbsp; GO ME!!! "Hello, I am Christy, and I am NO LONGER a SUGAR ADDICT!"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;About my workout!&amp;nbsp; I started getting up at least every other day, to work out, rather it be running on the treadmill for 25 minutes, then lifting weights, or doing Insanity workout (beachbody) Yesterday, I worked out with Sean T from Insanity!&amp;nbsp; I took the fitness test that he wants you to take at the beginning and at the end of each 30 days. WOW! I must tell ya....that fitness test alone about killed me!&amp;nbsp; but, I def. felt like it was a great cadio workout!&amp;nbsp; That's what I like to feel at the end of my workout!&amp;nbsp; I wanna be sweating!&amp;nbsp; Today, I am very sore, so I will take it easy...maybe play on the wii (just dance 2) with my son.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_pKn31PLTKsc/TULQ6zzBfvI/AAAAAAAAAGY/2Z2gcVf8-kg/s1600/weight206.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="181" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_pKn31PLTKsc/TULQ6zzBfvI/AAAAAAAAAGY/2Z2gcVf8-kg/s200/weight206.jpg" width="200" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;BTW, when I woke up this morning, I decided to weight myself (cause I do not FEEL like I have lost weight, and nor do I think I look like I have, which in many ways can be disappointing... but I am determined to stay on track! To my surprised when I stepped on the scale, it read that I was down by 2 lbs!&amp;nbsp; I was super excited. 7 more lbs and I am out of the 2 HUNDO!!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; WHOO HOOOO!!!!!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Something that I am learning on this weight loss journey is "You have to do what works for YOU!" You know, at first when I started this, I thought..."I am going to follow this book to a T (the 17 day diet) and I will lose all my weight.", But it was torturous to me! Many items that I LOVE that are NOT bad for me, I was not able to eat. (i hated that) and with dieting...you have to make it a journey to a healthy YOU that YOU will stick to, because IT IS a LIFE STYLE change.&amp;nbsp; I can't eat a certain way &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;or a few months...lose my weight, then go back to eating  how I was before and think that I am going to stay thin, because eating UNHEALTHY is what has gotten me to this point. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt; It goes the same with working out. Being that I am a stay at home mom, I do not get as much as exercise as I should, so I need to do SOMETHING to get me moving, and I won't Do that SOMETHING unless its something that I enjoy doing, or even feel like I could handle. So, I am slowly finding that SOMETHING that is working for me, and it makes me pretty damn HAPPY!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; TGIF everybody! LMAO!&amp;nbsp; What a joke I was!&amp;nbsp; I am sooo outta shape..that I looked pathetic!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;OKay, so the main thing with p90x is the door way pull up bar. (we have the bar)&amp;nbsp; I tried putting it in the door way, hanging on it...to pull myself up...and I thought I was going to break frame off my door!&amp;nbsp; As I was standing there attempting to pull myself up (which was NOT happening) the frame was making this horrible cracking noise!!!&amp;nbsp; Just what I need!! I broke down and had a bowl of cereal. yup...I had cheerios with skim milk. and boyyyyy was it delicious. It was measured out...so I only had 3/4 a cup and a half cup of skim milk. On the box it says that its a serving size...(for who,toddlers?)&amp;nbsp; geesh..it def. was not filling..thats for sure. but now..I am def going to have to stay on the treadmill longer than I did the day before. Ha! yeaaaaaah. about that.....I only stayed on it for 15 min. I have a lovely short video too..ill will post that with this blog entry.&amp;nbsp; (I tried to upload it from my phone, not working so I will have to connect my phone to the comp.&amp;nbsp; Next time I take a video, I will be sure to record it in lower resolution.&amp;nbsp; I had recorded it on HD not realizing it)&lt;br /&gt;So, yeah only 15 min.&amp;nbsp; I honestly did not have the energy!&amp;nbsp; i was feeling&amp;nbsp; light headed...and it just was not pretty. so I decided on sit ups instead. lol&lt;br /&gt;Yesterday, I did not get on the treadmill ... just looked at it...and thought about getting on it!&amp;nbsp; Though, I did do a lot of dancing around the house, for a good 45 min.&amp;nbsp; I danced while cooking...while cleaning...while feeding my toddler son.&amp;nbsp; My two youngest were staring at me at first..like Momma has gone crazy! My 5 year old son says to me, "Mom, u dance?" i was like, "yeah...Momma use to dance all the time back in my day...I would drop it like it hot!"&amp;nbsp; all while trying to drop to the ground and about blew out my knees trying to pop back up! !!!&amp;nbsp; He stood there looking at me with confusion on his face while saying under his breath.."dropping like it's hot?"&amp;nbsp; so...I just left it at that, but soon after..both boys were joining in with me....and dancing their lil butts off too!&amp;nbsp; i didn't get video.. but I will next time...it was too cute!&amp;nbsp; okay..gotta get my daughter to her bus stop...will update later! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;10:30 pm&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;I didn't get my bodybugg in today!&amp;nbsp; I am so dissapointed! They are individually wrapped, so it makes me feel like I am getting candy or something..I dunno...just in my head I guess. I slowly weened myself off, from Cola, to sprite, to 7up (never did diet drinks...) and now I just drink sparking water.&amp;nbsp; A lot of people do not like it, because they are so use to their sweet tasting soda,(this is not sweet at all.. not sugar or FAKE sugars added) but if you are wanting to get OFF soda, I recommend La Croix Sparkling Water.Comes in many flavors (My fav is Berry)&amp;nbsp; I am hooked on this sparkling water!&amp;nbsp; I can only find it at Meijer and Kroger. (all the way at the bottom shelf where the water is) FYI, with the 17 day diet, my sparking water is NOT included in my 64 oz of daily water. which sucks...cause now I see me having only one of my La Croixs a day... blaaahh.... Its an instant gratification for me.&amp;nbsp; First off, let me say, I HATE WORKING OUT.&amp;nbsp; I did not work out at all last week when I lost the 5 lbs (I just played Just dance 2 with the kiddos) Other than that...my butt was on the floor playing with my 1 year old, or on the couch watching TV.&amp;nbsp; I didn't have much energy at all.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;This is a new week for me! I want to work out and be on the 17 day diet. Okay, so... since I do not have my BBSP(bodybuggSP) in yet (if you don't know what it is....google it...super cool!) I am just going to stick with walking the treadmill. (maybe do some crunches).&amp;nbsp; once I get my BB I am hoping it will be addictive to me, to see how much calories I can burn in a day! :)&amp;nbsp; It takes 3,500 calories to burn 1 pound of fat.&amp;nbsp; How cool would that be....to even lose 7 or a lil more pounds a week! HECK YEA!!&amp;nbsp; (I'm super excited, can't ya tell?)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Okay, off to bed. This definitely makes this pretty excited and motivated!&amp;nbsp; ((SMILES!))&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;I cannot wait to get out of the 2 HUNDO!!&amp;nbsp; I have been in the 2HUNDO for almost 2 years! I have got to stay active, and I know that will also be the Key to losing this weight!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;On this diet, I have noticed that I am HUNGRY&amp;nbsp; a lot!&amp;nbsp; Its getting better as the days go on, but the first 3 days... my belly was growling so loud,&amp;nbsp; yet I felt like I was constantly eating.. Now that its my 5th day...its not so bad, but I still feel like I am eating a lot. My weekly food I bought at the beginning of this diet, is already running out..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;About the green tea....I loooove drinking the green tea now!&amp;nbsp; Its crazy, but I have learned to love it!&amp;nbsp; I actually drink more than the minimum!&amp;nbsp; It doesn't really have a flavor, but I get the fruit kind&amp;nbsp; (no sugar is added) and you smell the fruit, but don't really taste it. Its nice.&amp;nbsp; Blueberry is my fav!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;You know, I was watching Dr. Phil today, and they were talking about the 17 day DIET, and I seen a lil clip where a woman had mentioned that there is a special section in the book that tells you how to still lose weight even when you are PMSing.&amp;nbsp; I def. need to read that part now....cause its that time for me!&amp;nbsp; (I know, TMI!) but I would hate to weight myself come Saturday, and see I have gained...or not lost.....HOW discouraging...right?&amp;nbsp; I have to admit, it has been hard to NOT have chocolate...or sugar prior to be getting ready to start.&amp;nbsp; I am one of those ladies that crave it like a pregnant woman craves pickles and ice cream!&amp;nbsp; :) HA.&amp;nbsp; I will drive to the store at 2 in the morning to get chocolate if its that time of the month for me....so me going through these cravings....and not being able to have chocolate, has been sooo hard.&amp;nbsp; The other night, I was craving sugar so bad, that I found myself taking a lil nibble outta my baby sons arrow gerber graduate cookie, as I was feeding it to him.&amp;nbsp; How pathetic is that? huh?&amp;nbsp; OH, and I should mention, that to get over my craving, I ate a serving of peanut butter on a spoon. I LOOOOOVE peanut butter, and I thought,"well, its either cookies, or a serving of peanut butter." and I went with what I thought the best option was. (even though PB is not mentioned in the book as a item that I am allowed to eat)&amp;nbsp; Peanut butter is HIGH protein...and cookies are high sugar and flour. I must say, when I woke up this morning, I was super excited to start my journey. I was definitely eager to try the green tea.( Dr. Mike recommends alot of green tea) anyways, I had the blue berry flavoured green tea with no sugar of course.. It wasn't so bad. I also had egg whites with a side of strawberries. (i would have had grape fruit, but I have yet to do my grocery shopping for this journey) and of course I have my water cup here that holds 24 oz .. Thats 3 servings of my 8 servings of water for the day.&amp;nbsp; I definitely think that drinking the water isn't going to be hard at all.. I also wanted to mention that I weighed myself this morning, and I am a lil lighter than what I was a week ago.. Which I have no idea how that happened.. Considering I was eating nothing but sugary junk! hummmmmm...I dunno.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; During this journey, I am going to try to document as much as I can, from pictures, to daily entries. (I do all my updates, and pics on my droid x, so it makes it alot easier.) I hope by updating alot, it will help some of my readers out there that is hoping to lose weight. Okay, will update later!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 9:44pm: I went grocery shopping.. Got all healthy stuff to eat! For lunch, I ate a tuna eggs white omelette. I used Mrs. Dash table blend with it.. Made it smell and taste like chicken. I had that with peach green tea. Oh, and for snack I had asparagus with Mrs. Dash table blend. Yeah..i know.. It doesn't sound very appetizing, but its all I had prior to grocery shopping.&amp;nbsp; I have yet to have my yogurt... I'm suppose to have two servings a day of yogurt.. But I just got some... So only one will do for now. Im also suppose to have two servings a day of fruit.. But I'm not allowed to have fruit after 2:00PM For dinner, I had rotisserie chicken, steamed broccoli,&amp;nbsp; with a coup of green tea of course.&amp;nbsp; I also had a fat free sugar free yogurt 2 hours later.&amp;nbsp; I WANT SUGAR!&amp;nbsp; I can tell ya...this is NOT EASY..and hell..its only the first day! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 2am: OKay, its 2am..and I really should be asleep, I know this...but I was up with the kids and hubby playing the game Just Dance 2 for wii..&amp;nbsp; ALOT of fun! and def. keeps ya moving!&amp;nbsp; I cannot wait to play it tomorrow!!&amp;nbsp; Oh, I MISS SUGAR!&amp;nbsp; I cannot get that off my mind....So bad..I wanted to go in the kitchen, and have myself a big ol bowl of sugary cereal with lots of skim milk!&amp;nbsp; I LOVE SKIM MILK!&amp;nbsp; My hubby just had himself some chocolate with milk...HE's killing me!&amp;nbsp; My two weekness.....Chocolate and MILK!&amp;nbsp; ohhh...I have got to go shower and go to sleep. Wow, I don't know where to start...I guess I will take it back to 9 years (prior to having my 8 year old daughter.) Prior to getting pregnant with my daughter, I was in the best shape I had EVER been! I had decided that I wanted to follow my fathers foot steps, and join the United States Marine Corps. I trained a little prior to joining, and once I swore in, I decided that I was going to take it a step further, and train my ass off, so I could graduate at that top of my class in bootcamp. I worked out A LOT. I ran every morning at 5 am. 1 mile became 4 miles over the training process (my good ol Dad got up with me every morning too, to help me train) I was thin, fit, and happy.  I was modeling, and feeling so confident. (maybe even a lil conceited.) (look I'm being honest here..lol) Then, it happen. I got pregnant (PEOPLE..USE CONTRACEPTIVES  IF YA DON'T WANT TO GET PREGNANT!) So, during my pregnancy with my daughter, I GOT HUGE. the day I gave birth to her I was 250lbs. I'm 5'9" (5'10" on a good day hehe) and I was 150 prior to getting pregnant with her) Yup, I ballooned up!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_pKn31PLTKsc/TRxAIEUyxQI/AAAAAAAAAEs/S6SLDJomRfA/s1600/74596_1732196794327_1520740834_31790052_6321765_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_pKn31PLTKsc/TRxAIEUyxQI/AAAAAAAAAEs/S6SLDJomRfA/s320/74596_1732196794327_1520740834_31790052_6321765_n.jpg" width="208" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;So, a few years after having her, I lost weight got to 165 and then got pregnant again with my son (who is 5) The day I had him, I was 225. Well, 3 years later I finally got down to 175 then got pregnant again with my youngest who is now 17 mos. The day I had him, I was 225 as well. Oh, and let me mention...in all the weight loss I had prior to..I wasn't even trying..it just fell off. So its not like I learned how to eat healthy or even worked out. It just happen that way...now I'm older..and it doesn't just "fall off" anymore...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Okay...now we are at NOW....I am ...I am...Wow..do I even want to tell you how FAT I am...((thinking)) .......................Okay..I did say I was going to be an open book....so...hear it goes...I am at 218 and a size 18!  I know..I can't believe it myself. I don't know how I got here...or even let myself get here...HELL...I know how I got here...I just can't believe&lt;u&gt; I AM HERE&lt;/u&gt;. The sad thing is, before the holidays...I was at 208.  I gained 10lbs over the holidays!  &lt;b&gt;Freaking crazy! &lt;/b&gt;I must say, I am a sugar addict!  Its like CRACK to me.  I am so addicted! I am probably more addicted to sugar than I was to cigarettes prior to getting pregnant with my last child. It's sad because sugar is EVERYWHERE and in almost EVERYTHING. I have got to learn to &lt;u&gt;SAY NO TO SUGAR!!!&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_pKn31PLTKsc/TRw77EUinvI/AAAAAAAAAEg/96jie99uEi4/s1600/fb582_17-day-diet1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_pKn31PLTKsc/TRw77EUinvI/AAAAAAAAAEg/96jie99uEi4/s1600/fb582_17-day-diet1.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;So, what I have decided is that I am going to kick start my weight loss journey with the 17 day diet. Yup, that's right..its called the 17 day diet.  Its a book by Dr. Mike Moreno and its broken down in 4 cycles of 17 days day.  The first one being the Accelerate then Active, then  Achieve and finally Arrive.  Its all in 17 day increments. but....I believe if I am still needing to lose alot more and still in the 2 cycle...I can redo that cycle again..I think...I haven't gotten to the second cycle....I have only read the first few chapters (all being cycle 1)  I also plan on lifting weights and doing some cardio.
